The Company
POLINDE CONSULTING ENGINEERS was founded in 2004 in Athens, Greece. The name of the Company is derived from the ancient Greek word “πόλινδε” which means “towards the city”.
POLINDE covers a wide range of services with regards to transport, including traffic impact studies, transport modelling, road safety, highway design, traffic surveys, ITS, SUMPs and many more.
The Company’s aims are:
- The development of an environment for the optimum collaboration with clients, essential for the successful completion of projects,
- The provision of services according to international specifications.
- The timely completion of the services offered to the highest quality.
The constant monitoring of international practices and technological developments, as well as the upgrading of knowledge and renewal of all necessary equipment, gives us the capability to provide our customers integrated qualitative services.
Our Team
POLINDE Consulting Engineers owes its dynamic growth to its people. The company brings together a team of professionals—both permanent staff and external associates—comprising transportation engineers, civil engineers, highway engineers, and urban and regional planners.
At POLINDE, we take pride in our team: 80% of our staff hold university degrees, while 50% hold postgraduate qualifications.
The collaboration of engineers from diverse disciplines under unified management ensures a comprehensive approach to complex projects and challenges. Moreover, POLINDE Consulting Engineers is fully equipped to undertake all studies and provide the necessary advisory support for the successful implementation of a transportation project—maximizing efficiency while minimizing data management issues.
