Consultant and Technical Support for the formation of Proposals for the Improvement of Road Safety along the road axis of Irakleo - Rethymno Old National Road

POLINDE undertook the detection of black spots and determination of proposed implementation of short-term interventions in road infrastructure to reduce the number and severity of road accidents into the study area. The project involved:

• Identification of Black spots
• Development of short-term proposals for the enhancement of road safety
• Feasibility Study of the upgrade of all interchanges

for the road artery of Irakleio -Rethimno (Old National Road)
