Alexandra’s Avenue

Study for the integration of open spaces surrounding the PAO Stadium and the creation of a local underpass of Alexandra's Avenue

This study involved the organisation and supervision of 24-hour traffic counts (automatic), turning movement counts, vehicle classification counts, road inventory survey, parking survey and queue length survey. Part of the study was the road and hydraulics design of Alexandra's Avenue. The proposals were investigated using a SATURN model which was calibrated during the course of the study.
